Entertainment Business Finance

The most significant skill that I acquired during my finance classes was the ability to  elaborate pro-forma forecasts for business plans. I also learned how to easily incorporate financial key indicators in my project’s statements, including liquidity, activity, leverage, and profitability ratios. Other critical lessons included the understanding of how to use break-even point analysis along with vertical and horizontal ratios in order to monitor profitability.
Moreover, I examined major financial concepts such as the time value of money, operating and financial leverage, working capital management, risk and tax implications, and sources of funding. Lastly, I had the opportunity to use several online tools to interpret and analyze the financial condition of several publicly traded entertainment companies.
